At Charlotte Peak City Sitters, our services & pricing are designed for clarity and everyday families. A $45 annual membership unlocks access to vetted and caring sitters and nannies. From there, our simple three‑step nanny placement process kicks off with an application and annual fee, moves into a tailored consultation, and concludes when you receive detailed nanny profiles to review and select the best match for your family.

Babysitting Application

Step 1 Application:

Fill out our application. Then, keep an eye out for an email from CPCS with a link to sign the parent contract and another to pay the annual $45 fee.

Step 2 Activate Account:

Once your membership fee and parent contract come through, we will activate your account.

Step 3 Submitting Babysitter Request:

Once your account is active, you can log in to your portal at any time to request a babysitter. You can a single request or multiple requests

Step 4 Placement Fee and Babysitter Placement:

Once we receive your request, look out for an email from Charlotte Peak City Sitters with a link to pay your placement fee/s. There is an $18 placement fee per day. If more than one request is made, the website populates the total for the placement fees, and the total amount owed will be in your email. The links are all sent via PayPal.

Once the placement fee is received, I will begin working on your sitter requests. As soon as a sitter is assigned, you will receive an email from Charlotte Peak City Sitters with the picture and a bio from the sitter assigned. They will reach out to you within 24 hours to introduce themselves and confirm the details of the job.

Nanny Application

Step 1 Application:

Fill out our application. Then, keep an eye out for an email from CPCS with a link to sign the parent contract and another to pay the annual $45 fee.

After these are received, look for another link within 24 hours for the $50 nanny search fee. This allows us to find nannies that fit your family’s needs.

Step 2 Consultation:

Charlotte Peak City Sitters begins the process of finding your family the ideal nanny with an initial consultation. We can connect via email or phone to discuss your specific needs, expectations, requirements, and nanny rate. Once consultation is complete, we will reach out to all of our fully vetted nannies and babysitters with the job description. Nannies interested in your job will be screened by us, ensuring we believe they are the right fit for you.

Step 3 Receive Nanny Bios:

Next, you will receive nanny profiles that include their experience and education, who we feel is an excellent fit for your family. Once you let us know which nanny you want to meet, we will connect you both via email, phone, virtually, or in person. We will continue searching until we find the perfect match.

Step 4 Trial:

We recommend a trial period with any of the candidates that you selected. During which let us know if that nanny is the right fit or if you want us to keep searching.

Step 5 The Offer is Made:

If you have found the perfect match, let us know! Once the nanny confirms they would like the job, you will receive an email with a link to your monthly payment plan.

CANCELATION FEE PAID TO SITTER

If a client wishes to cancel their babysitter request within 5 hours of the scheduled job, they agree to pay the assigned babysitter a $40 cancellation fee.

EARLY RETURN POLICY PAID TO SITTER

If you return more than one hour early, you will be responsible for payment up to one hour before the scheduled end time.

PLACEMENT FEE PAID TO PEAK CITY SITTERS:

$120 for 1-2 babysitters – Families provide their own entertainment.
$175 for 1- 2 babysitters – This includes entertainment provided by Peak City Sitters.

At the event, our carefully selected childcare providers will be equipped to engage and entertain all the children, catering to both our provided activities and/or those brought by the families. Parents can feel at ease knowing their children will have an enjoyable time while they can focus on the event without concern.

BABYSITTING HOURLY RATE PAID TO SITTER:

Standard Staffing for infants newborn to 6 months is 1 sitter per 1 infant
Standard staffing for infants 7 months to 1 year is 1 sitter per 2 infants
Standard staffing for 1.5 – 4 years old is 1 sitter per 3 children (ratio changes with special needs contact kim@peakcitysitters.com)
Standard staffing ratio of school-aged children is 1 sitter per 5 children (ratio changes with special need contact kim@peakcitysitters.com)

$20 – per hour per babysitter for 1 – 2 children (based on sitter/child ratio above)
$22 per hour per babysitter for 3 children (based on sitter/child ratio above)
$24 per hour per babysitter 4 children (based on sitter/child ratio above)

PLACEMENT FEES FOR OUT-OF-TOWN VISITORS

$45 paid to Peak City Sitters for 1 day/night with 1 sitter

Consultation Services

Already found a nanny but need help with screening and contract guidance?

Let us assist you in making the right choice for your family’s care. Our thorough screening process ensures you have peace of mind with your childcare provider.

SCREENING SERVICES STARTING AT $300

Our comprehensive screening includes:

Consultation services with client
2 potential candidates
Reference Verification (2 – 3 references)
National Background Check & SSN Trace
Driving Record Check (for up to 2 last names)
Child and Infant CPR Certification Verification (Child and Infant)

Add Ons:

We offer additional support through Peak City Sitters. Whether your nanny is unavailable, calls out last minute, or doesn’t work out, we’ve got you covered with temporary, part-time, and full-time care options based on sitter and nanny availability. Plus, we’ll deduct $45 from the final consultation cost if you join our annual membership program. This membership alleviates the stress of securing backup care during unexpected situations.
