For the families, confidentiality is of the utmost importance. The only people who will see your job description are the members of our highly qualified team of nannies and babysitters.

Low up-front costs and our unique payment plans

Charlotte Peak City Sitters offers competitive pricing and flexible payment options, ensuring your satisfaction is guaranteed for the entirety of your childcare needs. Our $45 annual membership fee grants you access to our nanny and babysitting services at any time. You can cancel your membership at any time; simply notify us.

For Babysitting services:

For each babysitting request, there is an $18 fee to Charlotte Peak City Sitters. Babysitters are paid separately, and we set the rates based on the number of children they watch, ranging from $18 to $24, depending on the number of children in their care. This way, there is no negotiating between the client and the sitter. All of our babysitters are highly qualified, ensuring you have peace of mind.

For Nanny services:

A one-time, non-refundable search fee of $50 is required to initiate our extensive nanny search. Once a nanny is placed with your family, you will pay Charlotte Peak City Sitters a monthly discounted placement fee (Hyperlink) based on the number of days a week you need the nanny. The nanny rates are set and range from $22/hr to $24/hr, paid directly to the nanny, and are based on individual needs and expectations. The rates may increase slightly depending on your specific needs. Anything the nanny earns is theirs; they do not pay us, and we do not pay them.

Nanny Replacement period:

Charlotte Peak City Sitters is dedicated to ensuring the satisfaction of both clients and sitters. If either party is dissatisfied at any point during our services, we offer to find a replacement at no additional charge. Once we receive notification of a concern, we promptly search for a replacement and arrange backup care at no extra cost during this transition period. Should a family choose to decline the backup care, we will suspend monthly payments until a new nanny has been successfully placed.

We regularly conduct comprehensive background checks on each candidate, which include social security verifications, review of driving records, and extensive searches of criminal and sex offender registries across all states and counties where candidates have resided. All of our babysitters and nannies have up-to-date child and infant CPR certifications. This detailed approach enables us to confidently recommend nurturing and trustworthy individuals, providing you with peace of mind.

We provide continuing support to both families and nannies throughout the placement process and beyond, ensuring a successful and long-lasting match. About Kim – Owner

In 2000, my husband and I made the big move from West Virginia to Apex, NC so that my husband and I could continue our careers; me as a special education teacher and my husband as a CPA. I had a fantastic five years teaching in the Wake County school system. In 2005, our first child was born, and I began a new chapter as a stay-at-home mom. Our second child arrived three years later, bringing us even more joy. Although being at home with my kids was wonderful, I missed teaching. That’s when I started tutoring children in my home. As my little tutoring business grew, I needed a reliable babysitter to watch my children. I wanted someone to play with them, help with homework, and take them to activities. Like many other moms, I’ve always been very particular about who takes care of my children. I’ve been lucky to find some great sitters, but they would eventually leave for college or move away. When that happened, I wished there was a way to find a reliable, trustworthy babysitter for me, which led to the creation of Peak City Sitters in 2015.
